-Drum and Drum sticks are a wood product.
-Wood is a natural renewable resource having special attributes that require careful care and constant inspection to avoid dangers associated with wood and wood products degradation.
-Use of full length work gloves while inspecting, moving, setting up, tearing down, or using is required.
-Complete fully enclosed ANSI z71 rated eye protection is required while using these products to avoid remote possibilities of eye damage.
-Sticks may break or degrade at any time while being used. Careful continuous inspection of both drum and drum sticks is required. Inspection of assemblies for missing parts, wear and damage is required pre and post use. Drums and sticks are to be replaced immediately upon discovery of any splinters or fibers separating from the mass of any item. Carefully inspect both sides of the drum head for any sharp items or splinters. Remove from service, destroy, and dispose of immediately upon discovery of degradation to any items.
WARNING: Music and Drums can cause sound pressures in excess of safe levels.
-Hearing protection must be worn at all times to avoid damage or loss to hearing.
-Spectators must wear ear protection as necessary.
-No children are allowed to attend adult classes.

-Inspect stand and clips holding the drum head for presence and damage, wear, cracking, loosening, etc.
-Carefully inspect tube ends for plugs which must be present at all times.
-Place drum and stand on flat, solid, stable surface. Never on mats, grass, or outdoor surfaces.
-Never use drum without its stand.
-Always lay stand down on its side and out of the way of foot traffic.
-Never carry more than 1 drum at a time.
-Keep Spectators at a safe distance of greater than 20 ft from any drum or sound device.
-Keep participants at least 8 ft from other participants.
-Keep children at a safe distance at all times. Children must not attend adult classes.
-Always consult a physician prior to commencing all physical activities. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, sick, sore, pain, etc.
-Always use safety lanyards with sticks. Ensure lanyards fit snug but not tight around the wrists.
-Drums and their components are not suitable for any other purpose. Never use sticks, drums, or stands for purposes other than originally intended.
-Never swing or point sticks at a person.
